Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Computer Assisted Patrol Job in Charlotte, North Carolina

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Computer Assisted Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, document observations using computer or tablet technology, and provide customer-focused support. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, common areas, and perimeter boundaries to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe building activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
- Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
