As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, coordinate visitor and driver check-in, and document security-related activity with clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, stay highly visible to help discourage incidents, and support operations with professional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at pedestrian and vehicle entry points by checking identification, issuing and/or collecting visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing arrivals to appropriate areas.
• Screen deliveries, drivers, and vehicles as required, including verifying appointment information, checking shipping documentation, and monitoring loading dock and yard access to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events, notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed, and supporting post-incident reporting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, and perimeter, including monitoring doors and gates, observing for irregular activity, and reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
