Security Officer Full Time Experienced Job in Cincinnati, Ohio

As a Security Officer Full Time Experienced in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a food and beverage location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to support security-related operations, respond to questions and concerns, and help maintain a professional, welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at the front desk of a food and beverage manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Manage visitor reception activities, including greeting guests, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor logs in accordance with site procedures.
- Monitor access to the facility through the front desk, direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas, and report access concerns or unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Answer incoming calls, provide clear directions and information, receive deliveries as directed, and maintain professional communication with personnel and visitors.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and escalating security-related incidents according to site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
