Security Officer Full Time Reception Job in Cincinnati, Ohio

As a Security Officer Full Time Reception in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a food and beverage location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence, supporting access control, visitor management, and customer service. You will use communication and computer skills to document activity, respond to security-related concerns, and help maintain an orderly environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at the front desk of a food and beverage manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Monitor visitor access, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery logs in accordance with site requirements.
- Receive and direct incoming calls, visitors, and inquiries while maintaining a professional, courteous presence at the facility entrance.
- Observe front entrance activity and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
