Security Officer - Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, conducting routine patrols and staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist customers and store teams with clear communication, respond to concerns, and document observations with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following site-specific policies, completing required security procedures, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, stock areas, parking areas, and building perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report suspicious activity and policy violations to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or disorderly conduct; document observations accurately and promptly.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance to store staff and customers as needed and escalating to law enforcement and/or management when appropriate.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, support orderly customer flow, and complete access control tasks such as checking credentials and/or directing deliveries according to site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
