- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by following site-specific access control procedures, identification checks, and entry and exit protocols at a government location.
- Monitor entry points, screen visitors, verify credentials, and document access activity to help support security-related operations and site policies.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
- Prepare clear reports on incidents, access records, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
