Security Officer Access Control Driver

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will manage access control, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. - Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with access control requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, gates, and perimeter areas to help support security-related operations, noting and reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Assist with screening deliveries, controlling restricted area access, and maintaining accurate logs, reports, and other records related to daily post activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
