Security Officer Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Specialist in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support daily operations through strong customer service, communication, and a caring, team-oriented approach grounded in agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, observe customer and visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Support a professional atmosphere by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with crowd flow, opening and closing activity, and other security-related duties as assigned for the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
