As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will spend much of your shift driving the property, completing routine patrols, staying highly visible to help reduce security-related issues, and responding to customer and staff concerns with clear communication. You will document activity using a computer and/or tablet while supporting a welcoming shopping experience. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, medical situations, and/or suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including interior common areas, exterior perimeter, and parking areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor for and report maintenance hazards, unsecured doors, and/or unusual conditions; document observations and actions in required logs and reports.
• Assist with access control and traffic flow as assigned, including responding to calls for service, escorting as needed, and coordinating with property management and/or local responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
