As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, completing routine rounds and maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will engage with guests and staff, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly while documenting activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned municipal facilities, public-facing areas, and perimeter spaces; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and surrounding grounds for unusual activity and/or hazards, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with local emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Complete required reports and activity logs, document incidents accurately, and support access control measures such as checking identification and/or verifying authorization when directed by site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to ride a bike is required.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
