What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor access to the building lobby and reception area, verify visitor information, issue access credentials when appropriate, and help to deter unauthorized entry through security-related screening procedures.
- Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
- Answer phones, greet guests, maintain front desk activity logs, and report maintenance, access, and/or security-related issues according to site procedures.
- Observe lobby and entrance activity from the front desk, support emergency response activities when appropriate, and document unusual events in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
