We are hiring Security Officers that will serve and safeguard one of our many prestigious Tech Sites.

Pay Rate : $25.00 / Hour

Location: Cupertino, CA

Flex Officer Shift Windows:

Day: 4:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Swing: 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Grave: 8:00 PM - 12:00 NOON

(Must have full availability Monday through Sunday)

Requirements:

• Must be comfortable with potential schedule changes and flexible shift assignments
• Active California Security Guard Card (Preferred/Required)
• Strong technology proficiency, including the ability to operate access control systems, badge systems, and mobile reporting tools
• Valid California Driver’s License (minimum 1 year with a clean driving record)
• Must be willing to travel to multiple client locations when operational needs require, with travel distances potentially up to 120 minutes one-way(mileage reimbursement provided).
• Must be comfortable supporting multiple client locations within the region when operational needs require
• Reliable personal transportation is required for this role. Rideshare services (Uber/Lyft/taxi) are not considered reliable transportation for this position.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with employees, visitors, and leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service while enforcing site-specific security procedures
• Monitor and control access points, badge verification, and visitor management
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and solution-oriented manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, buildings, and perimeters
• Document activities and incidents using security reporting systems
• Maintain a professional presence while interacting with employees, guests, and leadership in a corporate technology environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working in sensitive or restricted areas.

• Provide a welcoming and helpful presence while supporting employees and guests across the campus environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Ability to learn and follow detailed site procedures and security protocols.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with a corporate technology campus environment.
