Security Officer Central Dispatch

As a Security Officer Central Dispatch in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional at a leading tech/media/telecom location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related incidents. In this dynamic role, you will remain a visible and reliable point of contact while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, communication protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor phones, radios, alarm activity, cameras, and/or other site systems to identify security-related concerns and relay information to the appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Dispatch personnel to reported incidents, service requests, and/or critical situations across the location while maintaining accurate logs, incident details, and status updates.
- Support access control activities by reviewing visitor requests, reporting irregularities, and communicating with site contacts regarding deliveries, after-hours activity, and/or restricted area concerns.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, noting unusual activity, equipment issues, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be 21 or more years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
