As a Security Officer Emergency Communications in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional in a dynamic tech and telecom location, supporting security-related operations through attentive monitoring, clear communication, and rapid coordination of responses. In this role, you will help maintain order, assist with incident reporting, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities within a technology-focused location.
- Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and/or dispatch systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and route information to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while helping to coordinate communication between on-site staff, visitors, and/or first responders.
- Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and shift activity records, and help to support security-related operations by tracking events, status updates, and follow-up actions.
- Conduct regular and random monitoring of the business location and perimeter through available systems and/or communication with field personnel, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
