As an Access Control Officer at a busy financial institution location, you will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage badges, and monitor entry points to help support a secure environment. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with site leaders and guests. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial services location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Control access at entrances and restricted areas by verifying identification and/or access credentials, managing visitor and vendor check-in, and maintaining access logs in accordance with site requirements.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other security-related systems, and report unusual activity or policy violations through the established chain of communication.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site personnel and/or emergency services when required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
