As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control at entry points, assist with badge checks, respond to calls for service, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, dock doors, and perimeter zones; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and drivers; verify identification, manage sign-in processes, and direct individuals to designated check-in areas per site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical calls, disturbances, and suspicious activity, and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on patrol activities, incidents, and service requests, and communicate observations and follow-up needs to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
