Security Officer Patrol

As a Security Officer Patrol in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control activities. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response protocols at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related issues.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas for unusual activity, assist with visitor access procedures, and report maintenance, lighting, and property-related concerns through established channels.
- Complete routine reports and incident documentation, maintain awareness of site conditions, and support daily operations in accordance with Allied Universal standards and client-specific expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
