What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by following site-specific screening procedures, visitor access protocols, and other security-related policies within a healthcare location.
- Screen patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors at designated entry points while communicating clearly and professionally regarding location requirements.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant information according to post procedures.
- Help to deter unauthorized access by monitoring entrances, observing foot traffic, and verifying approved access consistent with site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter locations as directed, noting conditions that may require attention and communicating them through appropriate channels.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment is required.
- Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
