As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a healthcare location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and communicate professionally with staff, patients, and visitors. Pay Rate: $21.74 / Hour

What You'll Do:
- Provide professional customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare setting.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities and de-escalating tense interactions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor management and restricted-area access in accordance with location protocols.
- Carry and maintain an authorized firearm while performing assigned duties in accordance with Allied Universal policies, licensing requirements, and applicable laws.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
