What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control activities, and/or emergency response support at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations for restricted areas, and support compliance with post orders, equipment control practices, and reporting requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- Have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
