Armed Security Officer - Technology Firm

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Clearance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post calls for professionalism, strong communication, and customer service, while supporting a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and always acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and support visitor and vehicle screening processes in accordance with site-specific protocols for a highly regulated location.
- Support emergency and incident response by communicating with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree, is required.
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
