Armed Security Officer - Aviation Firm

As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver Security Clearance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading aero and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support site personnel with exceptional customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post for a professional who brings integrity, reliability, teamwork, and an innovative mindset to every shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a defense industry location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and support controlled entry procedures for employees, contractors, and approved visitors.
- Support emergency notifications, assist with preliminary incident assessments, and coordinate with site contacts and/or public emergency responders when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance or have the ability to receive one.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
