Security Officer Armed Concealed Carry Patrol Job in Fremont, California

As a Security Officer Armed Concealed Carry Patrol in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior work areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations promptly to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Support a professional environment by following post orders, maintaining awareness of sensitive work areas and equipment, and reporting maintenance, access, or security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Possess a California weapons permit with a 9 mm caliber endorsement.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
