Security Officer Entry Control Driver

As a Security Officer Entry Control Driver in Gastonia, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will help manage entry points, monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional, welcoming experience. - Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or permissions, and document visitor and vehicle activity to help support authorized access throughout the location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and report conditions that need attention.
- Assist with screening deliveries, directing traffic flow at gates and/or access points, and maintaining accurate logs and reports related to daily security-related activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
