Security Officer - Unarmed Roving Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Roving Patrol in Holbrook, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will observe and report unusual activity, support access control and visitor flow, and communicate clearly with site teams and Allied Universal leadership. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or operational concerns to report.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or visitor credentials as required, and maintain visitor, vehicle, and delivery logs in accordance with location requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, disputes, medical events, and property damage, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Prepare clear written reports and complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift turnover communications, using radios, phones, and/or computer systems as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• The client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
