As an Airport Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. Position Type: Full Time, Day shift
Pay Rate: $28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:
- Valid Drivers License
- 21+ years of age
- Have ability to pass a backgrround check, drug screening and physical exam.
- Abulity to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT rquirements)
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government-operated transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, exterior grounds, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and support orderly movement of pedestrians and vehicles in accordance with site protocols.
- Assist with security-related inquiries, provide directions and general information, and support de-escalation efforts during customer interactions and/or service disruptions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
