As a Airport Security Officer Patrol Observer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy government airport location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support travelers with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time, Dayshift
Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:
- 20+ Years of Age
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts, travelers, visitors, and/or local authorities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
- Complete routine logs, incident reports, and/or shift documentation, and support crowd management, traffic direction, and public assistance during busy periods, special events, and/or operational disruptions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
