Security Officer - Unarmed Mobile Driver Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Mobile Driver Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and concerns with clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, people-first approach while delivering reliable, agile support for daily operations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities for an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations through the proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, work areas, laydown yards, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, logging visitors and/or vehicles, issuing badges or credentials as directed, and directing traffic and deliveries to authorized areas.
• Complete shift reports and incident documentation, and monitor alarms, radios, and/or cameras to support timely communication and security-related response.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
