Security Officer - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a large manufacturing and industrial location where you will help monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, supporting site coverage and quick response. You will also interact with employees and visitors, provide clear communication, and deliver a professional customer service experience aligned with our agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, managing visitor processing, and directing deliveries and/or contractors in accordance with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Complete security-related reports, logbook entries, and incident documentation, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
