Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Auditor

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Auditor in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support people on site through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized access and support site rules.
- Monitor entry points, vehicle traffic, and/or designated operational areas while verifying credentials and communicating clearly with staff and visitors regarding post instructions.
- Support day-to-day security-related operations by completing routine logs, maintaining awareness of changing conditions, and reporting maintenance, access, and/or suspicious activity concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
- A minimum of 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
