What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and staff by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with established screening protocols and reporting expectations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or shipping-related access permissions, and report policy violations or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
