As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role in IRVING, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, quick response, and a people-first approach that reflects our agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.

- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, following location policies, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with management and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, loitering, theft-related concerns, and/or other security-related issues according to site procedures.
- Support loss prevention and store operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrols, and/or daily activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
