Security Officer Freight Facility

As a Security Officer Arrival Screening Driver in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations with professionalism and strong communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to stay active, assist people throughout the location, and represent a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and rooted in integrity.

- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen individuals, vehicles, deliveries, and/or materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity, discrepancies, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contact.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and supporting site personnel during security-related events.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, screening areas, and perimeter as assigned, noting operational concerns, access issues, and/or suspicious activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
