Deposita, an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Project Director. The Project Director is responsible for leading a Team of Project Managers and/or Project Coordinators. The Project Director will have overall responsibility for the successful implementation of multiple high-profile Projects to provide direction, leadership, and overall management of the Team. This position will provide oversight and mentorship for Project Team members to allow for the Project successes throughout its life cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage multiple high-profile projects day-to-day, working with functional Teams across the organization managing a Project Team
  • Provide leadership, schedule project timelines, direct project, defining scope, goals and deadlines, Project plans and associated tracking documents.
  • Responsible for growing and maturing the PM Team while providing leadership and strategic guidance for the key functions of the Project Management Team
  • Responsible for achieving and improving by continuously assessing the current state of the project making recommendations, and driving solutions
  • Accountable to motivate, inspire and coach a high performing team of full-time members while ensuring a good balance between continuous improvement, engagement, and goal achievement
  • Define Project Management priorities/goals which include full project life cycle ownership and devising methods to accomplish them
  • Manage the execution of projects and monitor progress, provide accurate and timely information to Leadership
  • Mentor Project Management staff on processes/tasks and work with external customers – including developing the process/plan for supporting solutions that will address customer goals while maintaining best practices
  • Ensure Project Management teams excel in leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, teamwork, collaboration, professionalism, work ethic, organization, and communication skills
  • Train, coach and set expectations for Project Managers and or Project Coordinators to improve Project Management capabilities
  • Establish pathways for escalation of project issues within the organization to provide the right level of awareness and decision making

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of work experience in project management to include oversight of all aspects of process development and execution
  • Experience in systems integration, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute task in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to confirm to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree or above in business administration, marketing, or computer technology related field
  • Project Management Certifications
