Security Officer Desk Attendant Job in Kansas City, Missouri

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific policies, assisting visitors, and supporting security-related procedures for a fast-paced technology-focused location.
- Monitor lobby activity, manage visitor check-in and badge processes, and help to report unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or access issues to the appropriate contacts.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Answer phones, direct guests and deliveries, maintain front desk logs and records, and communicate clearly with staff, vendors, and/or visitors regarding access procedures and site expectations.
- Support access control operations by verifying credentials, monitoring entry points from the reception area, and helping to address unauthorized access attempts in accordance with post instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
