Security Officer Visitor Registration Job in Kansas City, Missouri

As a Security Officer Visitor Registration in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location where you will serve as the front desk presence, greet guests, manage access, support security-related procedures, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating with staff regarding arrivals, deliveries, and/or service providers.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through established channels.
- Support front desk operations within a technology-focused location by observing lobby activity, helping to deter unauthorized access, and assisting with badge issuance, visitor directions, and general inquiries.
- Answer phones, manage incoming communications, and coordinate with Allied Universal personnel and site contacts regarding security-related matters, questions, and/or unusual activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
