As a Screener with Allied Universal at a secure location, you will help manage controlled entry by checking identification, screening visitors and deliveries, and observing activity for security-related concerns. You will communicate clearly with staff and guests, document incidents, and follow site procedures that help to deter unauthorized access. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries at entry points using approved screening methods and equipment, and check identification and access authorization.
• Control access by directing foot and vehicle traffic through designated lanes, maintaining visitor logs, and verifying required documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or public sector partners as directed by post orders.
• Document screening activity, unusual behavior, and policy violations in written reports, and communicate observations to supervisors and/or site staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
