In this customer-focused role, you will help manage access, support badge processes, and handle security-related concerns with professionalism and clear communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a financial institution location.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify visitor and employee access requirements, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
- Answer questions, give directions, and support visitors, employees, and/or vendors while maintaining accurate front desk records and visitor logs.
- Communicate with site contacts, management, and/or emergency personnel regarding security-related concerns, unusual activity, and front desk support needs.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
