What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a financial services location.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with location protocols.
- Respond to incidents, inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels when needed.
- Maintain detailed front desk logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
- Support access control and entry screening processes for employees, guests, and vendors while following confidentiality expectations common to a professional financial institution setting.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
