As a Security Officer - Turnstile Monitor in Lake Wales, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer supporting access control at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will welcome employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage entry logs, and assist with badge and key control. You will stay visible at critical entrances, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures at a food and beverage location, including greeting, screening, and directing authorized individuals.
• Verify identification, visitor purpose, and authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access logs and reports.
• Monitor entry points, gates, and assigned systems such as cameras, intercoms, and alarm panels, and report irregular activity per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities as appropriate and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, parking areas, and the perimeter as assigned, while documenting findings and helping to deter unauthorized entry.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
