Security Officer - Data Center Construction Job in Las Vegas, Nevada

In South Las Vegas, Nevada:
Allied Unviersal Security is seeking Security Professionals to join our Data Center Team during site construction!
Ideal candidate will:
- Have a drivers license for minimum 1 year with the ability to pass driving background check
- Strong computer skills required
- Strong customer service skills required
- Data center experience preferred
- OSHA10 & first aid preferred
- Must be comfortable standing and walking for long periods of time
Schedule: Three 12 hour shifts (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am) -- 36 hour full time schedule

Pay $23.11 Hourly
Benefits Information:
1. Healthcare
a. Non-union employees are entitled to ANTHEM 6000 or AETNA HDHP plans;
b. Union employees follow CBA benefits.
c. Benefit selection must be completed within 60 days of assignment to site, via EHUB.
2. *Sick Days and Vacation (PTO)
- Non-union get Anniversary PTO 0-3 yrs = 64 hrs; 4-8 yrs = 80 hrs; 9+ yrs = 120 hrs PTO.
a. Can be taken as vacation or sick days
3. *Parental Leave
- 12 weeks fully paid parental leave including adoption leave and baby bonding for non-birthing parent/partner, that must begin within 30 days before or after birth/adoption date, and must be consecutive. (Cannot take a month, then wait a month and take another month off.)
4. *Tuition Reimbursement
- $5,000 tax free tuition reimbursement per year is available, but must be used for career-related learning.
a. Use the standard AUS tuition process.
5. Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
- 24/7 support at phone number 800.538.3543 for life and work related challenges including counseling resources.
* All benefits with an asterisk are only available to full time employees (30 hours per week+) and are not available until a newly assigned employee has been on the Google contract for more than 90 days.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
