As a Security Guard - Unarmed Hospital Perimeter Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with calm professionalism. You will support staff, patients, and visitors through strong communication and customer service while documenting observations and assisting with access control. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards such as unsecured doors or restricted-area access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reports of disturbances, suspicious activity, and/or patient visitor issues, and escalate to appropriate medical staff and/or public responders as needed.
• Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying visitor authorization per site policy, directing foot traffic, and maintaining awareness of sensitive areas such as patient units and medication-related areas.
• Complete required reports and logs, document incidents and patrol observations, and communicate security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2+ years' service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
