As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a highly visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm professionalism. You will support staff, students, and visitors through strong communication, access control, and incident documentation. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, disturbances, and alarms; coordinate with school administration and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, managing visitor sign-in, monitoring deliveries, and directing guests to appropriate areas while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete detailed reports of observations, incidents, and patrol activity; operate security-related systems such as radios, cameras, and access control, and maintain required armed post qualifications per Allied Universal and site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement/military/security experience or a college degree.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Have 1+ years' armed security/law enforcement/military experience.
• Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience or 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years' security experience.
• Have a Corrections Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
