As a Security Officer Highrise Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring reliability, agility, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to each shift while helping create a welcoming environment for everyone on site.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
- Help to deter unauthorized access, loitering, and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and addressing routine issues according to post instructions.
- Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and assist with access control and visitor-related procedures as needed at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
