Security Officer Lobby Desk

As a Security Officer Lobby Desk in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will welcome visitors, support access and badge activity, monitor the lobby, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. In this highly visible role, you will help create a positive experience through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while supporting a reliable and people-first environment.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Monitor access to the building lobby and reception area, verify visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence.
- Answer phones, greet guests, provide directions, and coordinate with property management and/or building staff regarding routine questions, deliveries, and access requests.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related events according to site procedures.
- Support daily operations by observing cameras and alarm panels, reporting maintenance or life-related concerns, and communicating relevant updates to building personnel and/or first responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
