Mobile Patrol Security Officer

As a Mobile Patrol Security Officer in Los Lunas, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver customer service that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative approach. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required to meet AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to Allied Universal clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, industrial location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
• Control access by monitoring gates and entrances, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, issuing temporary badges, and directing deliveries to designated areas per site procedures.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, documenting unusual activity and promptly reporting concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations and completing detailed incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
