As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a tech, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and reporting findings to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, data and equipment areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor check-in, and coordinate with onsite personnel regarding authorized access.
• Complete accurate shift reports, incident reports, and daily activity logs, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and onsite contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree is required.
• Supervisory Experience is required.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• 21+ Years of Age is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
