Security Officer - Front Desk

As a Security Officer - Front Desk in Miamisburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors, verifying credentials, managing access logs, and coordinating badge issuance and deliveries. You will monitor entry activity, communicate clearly with onsite teams, and help support a welcoming environment through strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Operate the front desk by greeting and screening visitors, verifying identification, issuing badges and/or passes, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests to the appropriate contact.
• Control access to the location by monitoring entry points, following sign-in and key control processes, and helping to deter unauthorized entry to chemical and petrochemical operations and restricted areas.
• Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, phones, radios, and intercoms; document unusual activity and notify site contacts according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, incident documentation, and timely communication with site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
