As a Security Officer Full Time in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. In this guest-focused role, you will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, guest-facing areas, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and activity at assigned locations, assisting with visitor direction, credential checks, and/or policy compliance in support of property operations.
- Support hotel and resort operations during peak guest activity, special events, and/or busy arrival and departure periods by maintaining a visible presence and communicating security-related information as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
