Security Officer Driver

As a Security Officer Driver in Monroe Township, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal in a government location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support badge and visitor processes. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication while helping to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and authorized personnel by following access control procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or government-related areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, access issues, and potential security-related policy violations.
- Maintain accurate visitor logs, badge records, and daily activity reports while communicating clearly with site contacts, staff, and/or public visitors.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
